Our first night was in a very small room and we had 8 consecutive nights booked in the place. Shouldn't be any surprise that we had big luggage with us compared to couples who stayed just 1-2 nights. Fortunately the very nice host of the place, Renato realized it would have been a catastrophe to put us in so small room for over a week. We stayed just 1 one night in that tiny room and next morning Renato switched to much better room, which we thank! Renato was very helpful and knowedgeable host, I can only recommend to stay in his place! If Renato offers to arrange a car picking you up from the Fiumicino Airport, catch that offer! It is very reasonably priced and will save you both time and sweat. Breakfast was okay though filter coffee was not available (espresso coffee thinned out with warm water, "americano", is not the same thing as Northern European filter coffee, often done in blond Nordic Roast style robusta-beans which is not an easy roasting style to master. Whereas espresso coffee is done on the very dark roasted beans which is easy to do in torrefacione. Try roasting done in our way and you see it is not easy to perfect and beans must be of absolute top quality which they don't need to be in espresso where dark roasting hides many minor quality issues in the beans ....).

Renato the host was super friendly and very helpful in providing a map of the city and telling us about the top sites to see in Rome. He had a lot of interesting information he shared with us. The metro and bus line were both close and convenient. We found the area to be walkable to many cultural sites and preferred to walk most times. Renato provided a nice breakfast each morning with a large croissant and a fresh-made cappuccino for us each morning (with fruit and some other items if desired.) Our room was very quiet with the window closed. We also appreciated the air conditioning in the room in the evenings which helped us get a good night's sleep. It was nice that fresh towels were provided each day. We would have preferred to stay right in the historic area, but we found the prices just too high--so this was a good compromise since the metro was so close to the apartment. We typically used transportation only in the evenings after a long day of seeing the beautiful sites of the city. Our room was on floor 5 so we were very thankful that there was an elevator/lift to the room. We enjoyed our stay. Renato was a delightful host.

The hotel is 2 mins away from the nearest Metro station (Line A, which goes to the Termini train station and major tourist sites). It's also a 30 min walk to the Colosseum. There is a little shop 30m away from the hotel, where you can buy tickets for the metro and buses as well as supermarkets and places to eat. My room was very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast had a good selection (Cornetti, toast, fruit, yoguhrt, juice, coffee, tea, etc), which Renato served himself. He gave me a map and tips on where to go (including spots where not many tourists go, e.g Aventin and the orangerie, which I enjoyed very much), lent me a guidebook and also told me some history of Rome. I felt very welcome and well taken care of. I'd definitely stay here again :)

The owner Renato was very nice and friendly and told me a lot about different historical places in Rome which were (of course) worth visiting, he provided me a map of Italy as well as detailed information about how I can reach all these places. He also advised me the cheap cafés and restaurants and the best ways to go to all these places. It was very useful because that was my first time in Rome. My room was very quiet, spacious and was cleaned every day. The location was really very wonderful in just 3-5 minutes away from the metro station Re di Roma, about 15-20 minutes away from San Giovanni and 30-35 minutes from the Colosseum. Everything was amazing!!!

This hotel is located very close to the metro station and is about 20 minutes to walk from colosseum, so the location is quite good for people who like to walk a bit. The owner of this hotel an his wife were very helpful they let us in even though it was 12 o'clock (the check-in was on 3 p.m). they also helped us to find taxi and they gave us many recommendations about the sights. The room was very clean and the price is reasonable. I totally recommend this Hotel.
